Aussie Angler Almanac details and dates are true — to the best of our knowledge — at the time of production, but regulations often change. If you know of an update, please click the button and let us know, so we can tell all Aussie fishers.

Blue denotes the coastal region stretching from Albany to Exmouth in Western Australia. Orange denotes all freshwater fishing south of the Tropic Of Capricorn, including Tasmania. OUR VISION is for every Australian fisher to enjoy rich and satisfying experiences while fishing — now, and forever — and for all Australians to embrace the positive influence that recreational fishing can have on our society.

Fishotopia’s MISSION

To influence positive growth and transformation in the recreational fishing sector by helping each and every fisher become better at what they love doing — fishing!

The Inner Circle’s MISSION

To create an inspiring and supportive community for passionate recreational fishers to innovate, collaborate, learn and celebrate fishing, while also building a nation-wide and international network of fishing mates, in line with the Fishotopia VISION.

Recreational fishing is Australia’s heritage. It’s intrinsically woven into the fabric of our culture. When you think about it, it has the power to heal many of our society’s woes… but you have to THINK about it.

Not only does it get us off our butts, away from our screens and back into the wilds, it teaches us about ecosystems, their fragility and our place in them, as both predator and protector. It teaches us empathy, as well as humility — and much, much more… when you think about it.

If you are a serious angler… possibly even an addicted angler (as we are), then you belong in Starlo’s Inner Circle!
Members of this premium club are the “one percenters”. As such, they enjoy direct access to Starlo (and each other) through a totally private group forum that is fast becoming the “thinking anglers’ meeting place”. But that’s just the beginning. As part of Starlo’s Inner Circle, you’ll also have full membership to a growing library of incredibly detailed how-to features, in-depth articles, magazines, e-books and even activities for the kids… AND you’ll receive personal invitations to members-only events and get-togethers, as well as news of deals and new releases before they’re made public… PLUS videos and podcasts that no one else outside the group can access. Inner Circle Membership is without question the best way to fast-track your fishing success, and it costs less than the price of a packet of hooks every month. We reckon that once you’re in you’ll want to stay, especially as numbers will be capped, but should you wish to, you can opt out at any time.
